The team was determined to bring home the 3rd place against Alabama.
However, our team was trailing by 6 points in the first half. We finally took the lead in the fourth quarter with four treys from frosh Preston Kelly and his teammates who sank six straight free throws to seal the victory. Senior Kyle Bingham had nine points with three blocks. It was our second victory of the season and 7 losses.
Kyle Bingham earned the all tournament honors at Clerc Classic.
It was a big improvement for our team as we were seventh place at the tournament last year at Texas. |
