The Indiana School for the Deaf is located directly north of the Indiana State Fairgrounds.

If entering Indianapolis from I-65, north of Indianapolis:

• Take the 38th Street exit east.
• Stay on 38th Street for about 5 miles.
• Turn left (north) onto College Avenue.
• Turn right (east) onto 42nd Street.
• Stay on 42nd Street until you see the school on the left.

If entering Indianapolis from I-69, north of Indianapolis:

• Stay on I-69 and it will become Binford Blvd (Highway 37).
• Follow Binford Blvd (Highway 37) and look for the signs which will direct you to the Deaf School

If entering Indianapolis from I-70, east of Indianapolis:

• Take the Keystone exit and go right (north). 
• Take Keystone to 38th Street. 
• Turn left (west) onto 38th Street. Stay on 38th Street until you reach College Avenue. 
• Turn right (north) onto College Avenue. 
• Turn right (east) when you reach 42nd Street. 
• Stay on 42nd Street until you see the school on the left. 

If entering Indianapolis from I-74, east of Indianapolis:

• Take I-465 South to I-65 North, then I-70 East. 
• Immediately after getting on I-70 East, take the Keystone Avenue Exit. 
• Turn right (north) onto Keystone Avenue. 
• Take Keystone to 38th Street. 
• Turn left (west) onto 38th Street. 
• Take 38th Street to College Avenue.
• Turn right (north) onto College Avenue. 
• Turn right (east) when you reach 42nd Street. 
• Stay on 42nd Street until you see the school on the left. 

If entering Indianapolis from I-65, south of Indianapolis:

• Take I-65 to I-70 East. 
• Immediately after getting on I-70 East, take the Keystone Avenue Exit. 
• Turn right (north) onto Keystone Avenue. 
• Take Keystone to 38th Street. Turn left (west) onto 38th Street. 
• Take 38th Street to College Avenue. Turn right (north) onto College Avenue. 
• Turn right (east) when you reach 42nd Street. 
• Stay on 42nd Street until you see the school on the left.
